A Bloomingdale’s Cook Professional is essential to the customer experience, delivering exceptional culinary experiences through ingredient selection, food preparation, and presentation standards. Our restaurants offer creative culinary dishes that ensure a unique dining experience.

Essential Functions

• Partner with manager to explore current culinary trends and implement new initiatives
• Collaborate with manager to create menus for special events
• Work with Restaurant Manager to ensure effective communication with staff
• Motivate and lead staff to improve and exceed customer expectations

Qualifications and Competencies

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of direct experience
• Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing/walking around the store or department
• Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping
• Working in a warm kitchen environment may be required
• Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs
