Full Time, Varied Hours/Shift, 8
Prepares, seasons, and cooks all foods according to standardized recipes for patient, staff, visitors, and catering. Responsible for the quality, timing, and control of all hot food products. Garnishes cafeteria line insures all food temperatures meets or exceeds standard. Works closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure efficient, safe, and sanitary operations. Follows local health and Joint Commission regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Requires extensive walking and standing during shift. Requires lifting and bending using correct techniques. Able to lift loads up to 50 lbs. Exposed to hazard of burns and cuts due to working with hot equipment, sharp knives and meat slicer. Exposure to infectious material. Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
