Golden Chick is expanding and seeking Cooks to join our team across multiple Texas locations. This role focuses on safely preparing chicken, following approved guidelines, and maintaining high food quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 60 pounds, and comply with safety and sanitation policies. No specific experience required beyond basic education; state food handler certification may be needed within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Ensures all foods are prepared according to guidelines using only approved ingredients and processes.
• Handles raw chicken in a safe manner to prevent cross contamination.
• Fries and bakes chicken.
• Follows safety policies and uses cooking equipment properly.
• Maintains food quality and safety standards.
• Maintains proper stock levels and assists teammates as needed.
