Job summary

KFC Beckley in Beckley, WV is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and cook chicken to order and keep items warm as needed. You will operate griddles, grills, and fryers and follow standard food safety practices.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and capable of working well in a fast-paced team environment. Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares world-famous chicken that is cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold.
• Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers.
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked.
• Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions; verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
• Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
