Job summary

ENT1009ECIL is seeking a Cook in Orlando, FL to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare and cook meals, monitor inventory, and maintain a sanitary, well-organized work area to meet health standards.

The role may involve occasional interaction with guests and various kitchen duties as needed. The ideal candidate has at least one year of fast-paced kitchen experience, is capable of following recipes and portions, and may hold culinary certification.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience cooking on a fast paced kitchen line.
• Culinary certified training preferred.
• Must demonstrate basic cooking knowledge, following recipes, portion control, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Control food usage to minimize waste.
• Prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisor of low inventory items; assist in receiving and inventory as needed.
• Restock items as needed through the shift.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards meeting Health Board requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized including reach-ins and counters.
• Report unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• May assist with ware washing or other kitchen duties as needed.
• Promote teamwork and quality service; interact with guests as required.
• Perform more than one task at a time.
