Job summary

REGION VI COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH COMMISSION in Tutwiler, MS is seeking an entry-level part-time Kitchen Assistant to prepare and serve three balanced meals daily for residents and staff. You will communicate inventory needs and maintenance issues to the designated staff promptly and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with a part-time schedule and on-site work in Tutwiler.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and one year’s related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and serving of three balanced meals per day for residents and staff of the residential facility and other programs as instructed.
• Responsible for communicating inventory needs and maintenance problems and needs to the designated staff member in a timely manner.
• Responsible for ordering food and kitchen/dining supplies.
