The role requires stamina to stand for long periods, good English communication, and strict adherence to food safety standards. You will assist with inventory, kitchen cleanliness, and collaboration with the Head Chef to meet service demands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Capability to follow directions from the Food & Beverage Manager and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
• Assist the Head Chef in food production planning and execution to meet service demands.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate kitchen activities and maintain workflow.
• Manage inventory by moving and storing food supplies as needed.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting kitchen equipment.
