Job summary

New Horizon Foods, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Cook/Driver for our commissary and school meal delivery routes. You will prepare meals, drive a company van to schools, and ensure proper food storage and service standards.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience with references, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on your feet and follow menus and recipes. Shifts are Thursday through Wednesday on a rotating schedule with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience with business references upon request.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals in company van to various schools in the area.
• Meal preparation and proper food storage.
• Maintain health code regulations in kitchen.
• Ensure food is presented attractively.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Follow menus provided onsite and recipes.

We are seeking a person to deliver bulk meals to schools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work on their feet for extended periods of time. Experience in cooking and kitchen tasks is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist maintaining all health code regulations in kitchen
• Ensure that all food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers license

• Drive a company van to assist in deliveries
• This is a Cook with required experience one year minimum with business references upon request
• Fast Food Service Does NOT qualify for cooking experience
