Job summary

Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy seeks an entry-level Cook/Dietary Aide to join our caring team. You will prepare, cook and serve meals for residents, while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card (We can help with this!).
• Training is provided.
• Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve residents
• Assist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific procedures
• Maintain strict sanitation and quality standards
• Store food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilage
• Accurately record meals served and monitor food temperatures
• Clean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedules
• Wash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practice
• Other responsibilities as assigned
