Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, WA is hiring a Neighborhood Cook to ensure seamless dining service, prepare meals per HACCP guidelines, manage meal orders and stock, and collaborate with facility staff to meet patient and resident preferences.
The ideal candidate will hold a National Food Handler Card and 3+ years of short‑order cooking experience, with strong customer service, reliability, and teamwork in a healthcare kitchen.
Neighborhood Cook is responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals, floor stock, nourishment, and food preferences. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipes and plating guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies, and rotating product for maximum quality. Interacts with other employees in a friendly and courteous manner. Acts as an effective customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments.

Pay range: $22.06 – $25.62. The successful candidate’s placement will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
