Job summary

Constellation Culinary Group is seeking a dependable Cook / Delivery Driver to join our Cooley team in San Francisco, CA. You will prepare fresh, high-quality meals at the Treasure Island commissary and safely transport them to the client location, delivering excellent service with a hands-on culinary focus.

Responsibilities include supporting daily kitchen operations, loading and unloading, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining food safety standards while coordinating with management

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional cooking or food service experience.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain upon hire.

The Role at a glance:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Cook / Delivery Driver to join our Constellation Culinary Group team at Cooley in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will prepare fresh, high-quality food at our Treasure Island commissary kitchen before safely transporting meals and supplies to our client location in San Francisco. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on cooking and being on the move while providing exceptional service.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare menu items and assist with daily food production at our Treasure Island commissary kitchen.
• Safely transport prepared food, supplies, and equipment to the Cooley San Francisco location.

• Complete vehicle inspections before and after each shift and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and delivery vehicle.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and supporting daily kitchen operations.
• Communicate proactively with management regarding route delays, equipment issues, or operational concerns.
• Support catering events and other culinary operations as needed.

What we're looking for:

Must-Haves

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least one (1) year of professional cooking or food service experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving company vans or delivery vehicles.
• Experience in corporate dining, commissary, catering, or high-volume food service.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Compensation Range:

$24-$25 an hour.
