Job summary

Ryan's Smokehouse in Webster, TX is seeking a passionate Cook/Customer Service team member to join our crew. You will operate grills and smokers, prepare menu items, and help ensure a warm, friendly dining experience for every guest.

Ideal candidates have kitchen or food service experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. A Food Handler's Certification is preferred or obtainable upon hire.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BBQ cooking techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Ryan's Smokehouse recipes and quality standards.
• Operate grills, smokers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take and process customer orders accurately, both in-person and over the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and front-of-house areas.
• Restock food prep stations and monitor ingredient levels throughout the shift.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a positive attitude.
