Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a cook to join our team within Eat’n Park Hospitality Group. As a cook, you will contribute to our legacy by preparing food to Parkhurst recipes and participating in batch cooking while ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

You will also maintain production sheets, communicate with line staff, and manage temperatures according to recipe specifications to support a smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
• Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
