Job summary

Benchmark Behavioral Health operates a scratch-cafeteria kitchen serving staff and residents in a residential program for adolescent boys. This full-time Cook/Chef role features 10-hour shifts from 9:30am to 7:30pm on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with a $16.00–$20.00 hourly base and $2.00–$4.00 shift differential for afternoons and weekends, totaling up to $24.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing appealing and healthy meals from scratch.
• Energetic, creative and driven to provide a superior food experience.
• Experience working in a cafeteria-style or similar organization is helpful but not required.

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving scratch made meals to our residents and staff.
• Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients.
• We serve about 120 people 3 times a day / 365 days a year.
• Checking in food orders, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temp logs, etc.
• Compliance with all regulatory and health department guidelines.

Responsibilities

Cook/Chef (Scratch Cafeteria)

Type: Full -time. Hours: (4) Ten hour shifts - 9:30am - 7:30pm (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday). Base pay: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience. PLUS ++ $2.00 to $4.00 per hour more for working afternoons and weekends. (Total Pay = $16.00 - $24.00 per hr. w/shift differential)
