Position: Line Cook, Cashier

Location: 598 S Louisiana Street, Plain Dealing, LA

The ideal candidate has experience with short order scratch cooking, enjoys working in a restaurant environment, takes direction well, and is effective at multi-tasking. Restaurant industry cooking experience and strong customer service skills are preferred. Must understand the importance of teamwork in a kitchen environment, be capable of maintaining established cook times, and be available for all shifts. Cash handling experience and excellent customer service are required.

Responsibilities include:

• Measuring and assembling ingredients for menu items
• Collaborating with management and cooks to prepare meals
• Following recipes and procedures
• Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotating stock items as per procedures
• Restocking kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Cleaning and sanitizing the food prep area and kitchen at the end of shifts
• Maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude
