- Starting pay is $15.00 an hour for kitchen staff. If you have experience, starting pay can be higher.
- Earn an additional $.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
- Performance reviews are conducted as early as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
- Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.
- Benefits include Vacation Pay, Overtime pay over 40 hours, an Annual Bonus based on store profits, and overtime pay for working holidays.
Job Duties: BAXTERS KITCHEN - NON DONUT PRODUCTION
Preparing breakfast and lunch sandwiches to complement coffee and donut sales.
- Prepare all food items as directed, maintaining sanitation and timeliness.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, practicing good safety and sanitation.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment.
- Restock items as needed during the shift.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly or Twice monthly
In addition, you may want to be a cashier. The cashier's role includes:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Operating the cash register, managing cash, cards, etc.
- Completing shift reports.
- Cleaning windows, floors, bathrooms, and emptying trash.
- Stocking shelves and coolers.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Checking in product deliveries.
- Performing yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells, etc.).
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
- Communicating effectively with associates and guests.
- Accurately counting, reading, and writing for paperwork.
- Wearing the required store uniform.
- Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
- Having reliable transportation.
- Attending mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting 1 to 15 lbs.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist.
- Accessing all store areas freely.
- Moving quickly around the store.
