Job Summary

Summary : Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and serving, storing or discarding excess food per safe handling procedures.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
10. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
15. Commits to personal and team safety.
16. Follows all company policies and procedures, including safety measures such as using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
