Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and instructions.
  2. Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all foods prepared.
  3. Use established ticket procedures during service. Maintain records from work areas.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas following safety standards.
  5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  6. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
  10. Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
  11. Follow all safety policies, including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
