Job summary

Bell Tower Residence – Merrill,WI is seeking a compassionate and dependable Cook to provide nutritious meals for residents and maintain sanitary kitchen spaces in compliance with regulations.

The role is part-time and on-site, with PM shifts and weekend rotation; prior LTC cooking experience is preferred but not required. Training, orientation, and ongoing education are provided along with a supportive team environment.

• Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
• Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers.
• Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
• Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines.
• Has basic knowledge of special diets and that they are served correctly.
• Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

A Cook at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide good nutritious meals to our residents. The cook will also clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
