Job summary

Bell Tower Residence in Merrill, WI is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents. You will clean and sanitize equipment and spaces, adhere to sanitation standards, and interact warmly with residents and staff.

You must be able to follow portion guides and diet restrictions, work PM shifts 10:00am-6:30pm, and contribute to a safe, comfortable dining program. Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Preferred: prior experience as a Cook in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
• Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers.
• Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
• Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines.
• Has basic knowledge of special diets and that they are served correctly.
• Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.

Status: Part-Time | Casual

Schedule: PMs ( 10:00am-6:30pm) Every other weekend | Rotating Holidays | at least one day during the week

Job Summary

A Cook at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide good nutritious meals to our residents. The cook will also clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour dependent on experience
