Job Summary

The Assistant Cook performs a variety of duties related to food preparation or cleanup in the kitchen, dining room, food serving line, or dishroom areas.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Must have the ability to read, write, take verbal instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
2. Experience: One year in a customer/food service position. Experience in a similar environment to St. Bernards Village is preferred.

4. Physical requirements include exposure to heat, steam, cold, and chemicals, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 60 lbs. Frequent standing and walking are required.
5. Normal health care environment with occasional exposure to wet surfaces, noise, and equipment use.
