Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Cook for Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Duval in Austin, TX. The position supports resident meals according to diet specifications and facility procedures, with emphasis on sanitary standards and accurate portioning.

Qualifications

Position Type: Full Time

SHIFT: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities

The Cook ensures that the resident meals are properly prepared and apportioned according to the resident’s diet specifications, facility procedures, and prescribed dietary and sanitary regulations.

Essential Functions

Prepared food items on assigned/scheduled menus
Maintains sanitation of equipment and utensils, work area, storage, area, and serving area
Follow proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Licensing Requirements

Texas Food Handler Certificate is preferred

Experience Requirements
