Job summary

Applitrack in the United States is seeking a school kitchen aide to support meal preparation, serving, and daily kitchen operations in a school setting.

The role involves maintaining standards as directed by the Director of Child Nutrition, preparing food per state and federal guidelines, and assisting with inventory and restocking. A valid foodhandler permit is required and WVDE competency testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Wyoming County Foodhandlers Permit.
• Background in institutional or commercial cooking preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and calculate ingredient measurements.
• Must pass WVDE cook competency test.

• Preparation of all types of food acording to State and Federal guidelines
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop kitchen area, as needed
• Cleans all equipment used
• Serve food to students and staff
• Aid in taking inventory of food and supplies and restocks storage areas as food and supplies are received
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors
