Job description

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the Cook 4 prepares and cooks food, cleans, stocks, and maintains all kitchen, preparation, service, dining, and storage areas. Assists with venue management, including but not limited to expediting, managing inventory, and supervising personnel. Foxwoods Resort Casino is committed to providing our guests an "extraordinary" guest service experience. Minimum Requirements:

  1. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a full-service or production kitchen.
  2. Must be able to perform cooking methods, prepare soups, stocks, and sauces, and operate all hot and cold culinary stations proficiently according to Foxwoods culinary departmental standards.
  3. Ability to understand food requests, ask questions regarding its preparation, and assure team member or guest satisfaction with their order in English.
  4. Working during weekends, holidays, and peak business periods is required, including working any shift/day designated by the department.
  5. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs multiple times per day and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
