Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or related experience.
• Prior food preparation or cooking experience preferred; culinary training may be considered.
• Working knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, sanitation, safe knife handling, and food storage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up, maintain, and break down assigned station with ingredients and supplies.
• Verify freshness, quality, temperature, taste, texture, and appearance of food.
• Follow timing and firing procedures to support efficient service.
• Communicate shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to leadership.
• Support restaurant, banquet, catering, in-room dining, and events as assigned.
• Perform basic prep tasks: washing, peeling, cutting, measuring, portioning, mixing, stocking.
