Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an Intermediate Line Cook (Cook-3) to join our culinary team. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare meals for breakfast and lunch, follow recipes, and maintain high standards of taste and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires two years of line cook experience, the ability to multitask and work mornings, weekends, and holidays, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years of line cook experience required.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work in a team.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate to heavy weight.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends and holidays.

Miraval Austin is seeking Intermediate Line Cooks to join our team. Under the general direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, these positions will be accountable for providing flawless culinary service, be passionate about food and cooking and have a keen eye for detail. These positions require good communication and culinary skills, a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures, and the ability to prepare delicious meals for our guests according to the Chef’s recipes and specifications. This position is breakfast and lunch service focused with start times between 5:30am – 7:00am.
