Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas is seeking a Cook 2 to join the culinary team in Indian Wells, CA. The role centers on intermediate-level cooking, following recipes, and ensuring timely, high-quality meals for hotel restaurants and events.

Responsibilities include preparing dishes, garnishing, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity with benefits and a pay rate of $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Riverside County Food Handler’s license.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper temperatures for ingredients.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with wait staff, and management.
• Calm demeanor to work under high-stress conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Cook with bake, grill, steam and boil techniques as needed.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and sanitation standards.
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
