Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan is hiring seasonal Cooks to help prepare dishes according to recipes and chef specifications. You will contribute to the game day action and support a high-volume kitchen during events.

Responsibilities include following opening/closing procedures, cooking arena favorites, setting up equipment, keeping stations clean, and maintaining stock levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and work in a team environment.
• Basic math skills to measure and portion ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
• Cook arena favorites like hot dogs, burgers, chicken strips and french fries.
• Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
• Set up and operate kitchen equipment including deep fryers and grill cooks
• Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
