Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client to fill a Cook position in Wilmore, KY. The Cook II will coordinate, prepare and serve meals, review menus, and ensure sanitary standards are met. The role involves supervising staff as needed and supporting food prep coordinators.

Ideal candidates have two years of cooking experience in institutional or large-scale settings and hold a valid Food handlers permit. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

• Maintains equipment and utensils in safe, clean, and sanitary condition.
• Plan, coordinate, assign and supervise staff as needed.

Pay rate $18.16

Expectations for the Cook II include but are not limited to:

• Coordinates, prepares, and serves palatable and appetizing meals in a timely basis and in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Reviews menus and production sheets to ensure food is available for meals and snacks.
• Assists the Food Prep Coordinators as needed.
• Ensures scheduled cleaning duties are complete.
• Ensures the equipment and utensils are in a safe, clean and sanitary condition.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, assign and if needed, and supervise staff to lead them to be successful.
• Must have Food handlers permit.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:

Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large-scale commercial setting if possible.
