Habit Burger & Grill is hiring part-time Cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen. You will rotate through fryer, broiler, make-up, and quarterback stations, learning every step of the cooking process. Training covers food safety, cleanliness, and skill development to help you grow professionally.

We’ll train you on everything, including food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help you grow your skills along the way.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.• Restocks food items and kitchen supplies; stores and rotates food properly and safely.• Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer, etc.• Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform.• Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation.BENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive pay as well as career advancement opportunities and a referral bonus program. The Team Member is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS• Basic math, reading, and verbal communication skills.• Demonstrates ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.• Excellent teamwork attitude.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS• 1 year of experience in related food service position preferred.• Food Handler’s Card/Certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations.• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
