Job summary

Edgewood Watertown Memory Care is seeking a Part-Time Cook to deliver nutritious, resident-focused meals in our Watertown, SD community. You will prepare meals according to approved menus, help with events, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while delivering warm, friendly service to residents and staff.

The role offers flexible evenings, paid time off from day one, early paycheck access, and 401(k) with employer contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation for residents and events.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow menus.

Responsibilities

As a Cook at Edgewood, you'll prepare meals and provide an outstanding dining experience for the most amazing folks on the planet – our residents!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan, bake and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies

Qualifications:

• Active ServSafe Certification, desired
  Edgewood will provide any required training and certification
• Passion and drive for helping others
• Willingness to train new employees
• A desire to continue learning and improving your skillset
