Embark Behavioral Health in Washington, UT is seeking a part-time cook to prepare meals for clients and staff at Sunrise center. This on-site role requires Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with two meals per day and snacks.

Candidates should have at least two years cooking experience, a valid Food Handler's Permit, and care and adaptability for adolescents in a treatment setting. Sunrise is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

• Prepare food ahead of time for the next day’s menu.
• Collaborate with residential staff to serve meals promptly.

Hourly pay rate: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-time

At our Sunrise long-term Mental Health Residential Treatment Center, we blend clinical excellence with heart. Set against the serene backdrop of southern Utah, our campus offers a safe, home-like environment where girls and boys ages 12–17 can heal, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2 meals each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and staff.
• Prepare mid-meal snacks, ensuring food is always readily available.
• Assist in food preparation and storage.
• Oversee the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the kitchen.
• Prepare food ahead of time for the following day's menu.
• Collaborate with residential staff to serve meals in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of cooking experience.

• Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation.
