Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare in Walnut Ridge, AR is seeking a Cook to join our Food Services team. The cook will prepare and cook meals following the daily menu and consult with the management team when changes are needed.

You will work with the Director of Food Services to maintain adequate inventory levels and support other team members with kitchen, cafeteria, and dish room cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, take verbal instruction and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following the daily menu.
• Confers with management on menu changes as required.
• Work with the Director of Food Services to ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Assist other Food Services team members with cleaning of cafeteria, kitchen and dish room.

Job Objective/Summary: The Cook is a key player on our Food Services team. The cook responsible for preparing and cooking great tasting meals. The cook follows a daily menu and confers with management team when menu changes are required. The cook also works with the Director of Food Services to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
