Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Cook to support guest experiences by preparing and presenting meals in a safe, timely manner. You will operate kitchen equipment, follow HACCP guidelines and maintain a clean, organized station while collaborating with team members to meet service standards.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Lift/carry items up to 25 lbs without assistance.
• Background and drug screening may be required per company policy.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operates ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers to prepare foods.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company food safety programs.
• Cooks all potentially hazardous food to correct temperatures following HACCP.
• Sets up and breaks down workstation with required tools, equipment, or supplies.

As a Cook, a typical day will include:

• Operates ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company food safety programs.

• Follows all food safety and handling policies and procedures.
• Sets up and breaks down workstation with required tools, equipment, or supplies.

To Become a Cook at MVW

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
