The position is located in the Nutrition and Food Service at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. The incumbent will perform a full range of cooking methods. Responsibilities include preparing entire meals and coordinating several items with different cooking times and characteristics under minimal supervision. Menu items include regular and special diet entrees, starches, vegetables, sauces or gravies, and desserts.

EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must demonstrate evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the duties of this position. Evidence should be detailed on your resume and demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and ability. Applicants will be rated according to the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
