• Prepares hot food and cold food.
• Prepares orders according to the recipes and methods of preparation.
• Maintains quality, freshness and safety of all products at all times.
• Prevents cross contamination of food products.
• Follows correct food storage and safety guidelines.
• Ensures clean work surfaces, plexi-glass, walls, shelves, sinks and floors.
• Ensures correct labeling of dates for all food items and stores in designated areas.
• Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Disposes of trash, breaks down and takes out cardboard boxes.
• Provides suggestions and input to supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, move and transport up to 50lbs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.

• Skills in operating various institutional and commercial kitchen equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
