Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes

• Collaborate with the Food Service Manager to meet specific dietary needs

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation
• Knowledge of basic knife skills and food service techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
• An approved physical examination signed and dated by your primary care doctor no more than 30 days prior to hire (form is provided at interview)
• A two-part PPD tuberculosis skin test completed no more than 30 days prior to hire (form is provided at interview)
• Reliable transportation. We have a zero tolerance tardiness policy!
• No history of substance or patient abuse; background check & fingerprinting required.
