Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of one year of employment history in food service or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Successful completion of First Aid training is required.
  • Basic understanding of nutrition is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase food and supplies within budgetary requirements and maintain adequate inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with Health Department and KDHE regulations.
  • Complete staff evaluations and communicate with staff.
  • Schedule staff for proper coverage based on workload.
  • Coordinate daily menu and prepare frozen meat for cooking.
  • Prepare food with minimal waste while ensuring appearance, taste, and safety.
  • Monitor temperatures to meet safety regulations.
  • Clean equipment, dishes, and work areas to ensure sanitation.
  • Restock and clean cafeteria area for a pleasant dining environment.
  • Report faulty equipment to supervisor promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to deliver services.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience and Education Qualifications:
