Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Cook for the Food Services Department.

Shift: Full-time, rotating shifts (hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and some morning/day shifts, with one weekend on and one weekend off).

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $2,000 for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, cafe, and functions, including entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in lieu of degree/diploma accepted.

Certification/Licensure:

• Food Handlers Card and Food Service Certification as required by local health department.
