Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center in Stockton, CA is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare meals in accordance with medical and regulatory requirements. You will work under the Head Cook and Director of Food Services to meet patient needs with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus to ensure ingredients are available/ready
• Prepares meals in accordance with patient needs and preferences
• Maintains and files menus in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Follows all safety, food storage and cleaning standards for the position
• Listens to and serves patients/residents as needed to ensure a positive meal experience
• Participates in setting up and adjusting food service production line to assure that meals are complete, accurate and served on time
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards and regulations

Position Summary

Prepare food in accordance with medical needs of patients and all current federal, state, and local regulations along with Company established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services.
