Are you someone who loves to cook and help others? Christ the King Manor is seeking a full-time cook for our skilled and personal care departments. Help provide home-cooked meals to our residents while pursuing your passion for food service.

Shift Hours:

• Dayshift: 5am - 1:30pm
• Evening: 11am - 7:30pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to menu and quality standards.
• Ensure meals are complete, presentable, and served timely.
• Monitor residents' personal affects and report to supervisor for return.
• Complete all assigned cleaning tasks.
• Create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, delivering high-quality culinary care.
• Meet residents' food service needs with compassion and efficiency.
• Follow departmental, center, and corporate policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Participate in training, educational, and orientation programs to maintain quality of care.
• Perform other related activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior experience in healthcare or service environment preferred.
• Experience in independent decision-making.
• Compassionate, enthusiastic personality.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Meet all pre-hire requirements, including background check and drug screening.
