Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, overseeing foodservice operations and ensuring adequate food and supplies are available. The weekend double shift runs from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with an extra day as needed.

You will follow the meal cycle, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, comply with state sanitation codes, manage inventory and orders, and honor resident food preferences. Candidates can obtain a Food Handlers card and must meet health requirements; English

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a Food Handlers card.
• Must meet health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on proper form.
• Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify receipts, and restock as needed.
• Ensure resident food preferences are known and followed.
