Job summary

Shriners Children's in Spokane is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for patients, staff and cafeteria. You will operate kitchen equipment, follow dietary orders and allergy notes, and keep accurate records of meals served and temperatures to meet safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a Washington State Food Workers Permit, and preferably culinary training or ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary training and ServSafe certification preferred.
• Experience with institutional cooking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food for patients, catering and cafeteria.
• Operates kitchen equipment correctly and maintains food safety records.
