Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Guilderland, NY is seeking a dedicated part-time cook to provide a restaurant-style dining experience for residents, including meal preparation and menu adherence.

This role offers hourly pay of $17.75–$19.00, based on experience, plus generous PTO, holidays, health insurance options, a 401(k) plan with company match, and flexible scheduling.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred and at least one year of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare is required.

• Minimum of one year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus.
• Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner.
• Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents.
