Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Delmar Place in Delmar, NY is seeking a Cook for a part-time role. The position involves preparing meals, following established recipes and menus, and delivering restaurant-style dining with a focus on nutrition and presentation.

Schedule:Part Time

Salary:$17.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Cook Responsibilities include:

• Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere

• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus

• Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines

• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner

• Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs

Cook Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required.
