Sequim Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals for residents according to established menus and dietary guidelines while ensuring quality and safety.

The role offers a collaborative kitchen, opportunities to assist with menu planning, and shifts that support patient-focused dining. ServSafe certification is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualificações

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Culinary certification or related training is preferred but not required.

Full-time shifts may include:

• Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification

• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required.
• Food Handlers permit if required per state regulations.

Experience

• Six months’ experience in large quantity food preparation. Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
• Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
• NOTE: Federal Child Labor Laws do not permit employees younger than 18 years of age to work with or repair, adjust, or clean power-driven machines such as meat slicers and commercial mixers. Therefore, individuals must be at least 18 years of age to be employed in this position.
