Job summary

Era Living, LLC seeks a part-time Cook for Lakeshore Community in South Seattle/Renton, WA. You will prepare meals per planned menus, ensuring each resident enjoys a memorable dining experience, while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, offering competitive hourly pay and onsite perks. Join a compassionate Culinary Services team dedicated to aging with dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire.

Era Living is seeking a part-time Cook to become the newest member of our Culinary Services team located in our Lakeshore Community, South Seattle/Renton, WA.Available shifts will be scheduled Saturday and Sunday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM or 10:30AM to 7:00PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Cook will prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes, ensuring that each resident has a memorable dining experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Culinary knowledge & ability to perform routine food service functions.

• Proven ability to follow recipe preparation instructions and specific culinary procedures

• Ability to distinguish smells, tastes and temperatures

• Ability to understand proper food storage procedures

• Ability to adhere to strict established cleanliness standards

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Required:
