Job summary

Atria Senior Living – La Jolla is hiring a Cook to join our kitchen team serving residents in a warm, restaurant-style setting. You will prepare and cook meals, maintain a clean kitchen, and build positive relationships with residents and coworkers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, and a valid food handlers permit. Benefits include PTO, health insurance, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs
