Job summary

Sagora Senior Living Brayden Park Community seeks a friendly Cook to prepare high‑quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen, following safety standards and helping maintain appealing menus that meet residents’ needs.

Requirements include one or more years in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe Certification, and a Food Handler’s permit, plus excellent communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

• Monitor stock
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
