Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Lyndale San Angelo is seeking a personable Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment. You will cook à la carte items, monitor stock levels, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and help train Culinary team members.

Requirements include ServSafe Certification and a Food Handler’s permit, plus one year of kitchen experience and the ability to adapt dishes for special diets.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members
